milou van groesen by mert and marcus for giorgio armani s/s 2012

the gorgeous milou van groesen gets elegant in the spring/summer ad campaign for giorgio armani, 

photographed by mert and marcus. milou looks absolutely gorgeous while posing on a beach front

 backdrop, in tailored pieces and hats, bags and dresses. i have previously posted images from this is in full.

maria bradley, marte mei van haaster, laura kampman, milou van groesen, rosie tapner and others for balenciaga pre-fall 2012

balenciaga headed back to the eighties for there pre-fall collection, with eccentric colours and lots and lots of leathers. i'm not sure how many materials are in this collection, but it definitely looks like a lot, the prints are also all over the place.

i would say the styling is the worst thing about this, it's hard to tell which pieces are nice and which pieces are just plain bad. the shapes are big and boxy as usual, with the tailoring playing a big part in this collection.

the accessories included big earrings, chunky wrist pieces and as usual, boxy bags. it kind of reminds me of the latest spring/summer ad campaign from balenciaga, messy and a little bit odd.
