the oscars 2011

Hailee Steinfeld looked gorgeous beyond her years wearing a beautiful one of a kind Marchesa gown. She helped design the dress to suit her and got to keep it at the end of the night. The detailing on the dress is beautiful and the colour compliment her skin tone very well. Amy Adams looked dazzling in a sparkling L'Wren Scott dress. She paired it with $1,350,000 worth of Cartier diamonds including a necklace and bracelet. They both contained more than 30 carats of Emeralds. The emerald green went nicely with the dark blue of her dress and her fine complexion.

The host of the evening Anne Hathaway shined in a Valentino Couture gown. Her dress was detailed with flower ascents and blended into the red carpet nicely. Anne topped off her look with Tiffany and Co jewellery. Previous winner Cate Blanchett walked down the red carpet in a detailed Givenchy gown, pairing it with Van Cleef and Arpels jewellery.

Black Swan star Mila Kunis looked absolutely lovely in a pastel purple coloured Elie Saab dress. The detailing all the way down her gown and around her bust complimented her very well. Performer on the night and star of Country Strong, Gwyneth Paltrow, decided on a Calvin Klein gown. The dress looked like flowing water and complimented her sleek hair. She walked down the red carpet in Brian Atwood pumps and wore a Louis Vuitton ring and brooch.

Halle Berry looked as gorgeous as ever wearing a gorgeous Marchesa gown. The colour and detailing looked gorgeous on her and the train of the dress looked fabulous on the red carpet. She sparkled wearing 10 carat diamond Neil Lane earrings. Helena Bonham Carter was her quirky self wearing a victorian style custom designed Colleen Atwood dress.

Oscar winner Hilary Swank looked stunning wearing a feathered Gucci gown. Not something we usually see from Gucci but the colours looked great on Hilary. Jennifer Hudson showed off her new bod wearing a tangerine coloured Atelier Versace gown. She paired the dress with 165 carats worth of Neil Lane diamonds.

This was the first Oscars event for Jennifer Lawrence and she looked beautiful in a red Calvin Klein dress. Going for simplicity, she paired the dress with Chopard earrings and bangles and wore Jimmy Choo pumps. Mandy Moore looked absolutely stunning in a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier dress. The detailing in the top half of the dress complimented her skin and gorgeous hair.

The delicate and beautiful Michelle Williams wore a Chanel Couture gown. She paired it with Harry Winston diamond earrings and Jimmy Choo pumps. The very pregnant Natalie Portman went back to wearing Black Swan costume designer Rodarte. She looked gorgeous in purple and with her hair swept to the side. She decided on Tiffany and Co jewellery, Jimmy Choo heels and a Vivier clutch.

Previous winner Reese Witherspoon showed up on the night wearing an Armani Prive gown. While going simple with her dress she definitely went all out with her Jewellery. She wore an amazing $1 million dollars worth of Neil Lane diamonds and emeralds. Last years best actress winner Sandra Bullock wore a red Vera Wang design. She paired her dress with Harry Winston earrings and bangles.

Scarlett Johansson looked fabulous in a very detailed Dolce & Gabbana creation. The colour looked fabulous on her and complimented her minimal make up. She wore Anna Hu studs and rings and paired them with Christian Louboutins. Nominee on the night, Annette Bening looked dazzling wearing a Naeem Khan creation.
